The hot dog. A symbol of America, mass production — of good times and chillin. Gas, or brake?

This question sets the stage for BIG HOT DOG, where my film photographs from the across the US and , taken over the past four years, converge into graphic representation of the West today—(I won’t explain where our collective consciousness is at since we all know it’s scrambled eggs)

Where can true kicks be found? Why the boredom? More choices, or less choice? Hope?

The camera has been my tool of digestion and education about myself and the world in the five years since COVID, and with BIG HOT DOG I have assemble my experience of the 2020s thus far into book form. My hope is to something of equal parts humor, catharsis, and reflection on both what’s happening in the world and within the mind of the viewer; A satire opposed to the rising authoritarianism and ridiculous capitalism on the rampage currently..
